Bath Time

I have been meaning to take some pictures of Braden taking a bath. Every time I am up there and he is having so much fun, I have forgotten the camera. Not this time! Braden takes a bath in the big tub now. He gets to play with toys and splash around after we are done washing up.

He loves, loves, loves his baths. We have come quite a ways from his first bath where he screamed the entire time. Julia is my witness to that.

GREAT BIG SMILE

I love baths!

How come my turtle keeps floating away?

Ok Mom, fishie and I are ready to get out now!

I love getting dried off! Can you see my top two teeth? They are getting so big!

Ok, this one is just for the pictures!

Well, my little peanut is the cutest! (I couldn't be biased or anything!) I have been back to work the last three days and I have been missing my baby! He has done great with all the ladies who have been watching him. Starting Monday I will be working every other day. I am looking forward to that. Anyway, Braden has been smiling his little tiny tushy off and I just have to share the pictures. Enjoy!

I am such a funny baby!

I am such a funny baby. I make my parents laugh all the time! Sometimes, after I go to sleep, they sit down stairs and laugh about funny things I did that day. I like to cry when I am crabby. I am really cute when I cry. There was this one time where I walked across the whole basement with my car (and very well at that) screaming. I was so upset, but I was so cute! My parents took a picture of me! Check it out.

I am such a funny baby. I like to laugh and giggle when my parents show me pictures of myself. I love when the take pictures of me and then show me. I like to crawl over to my parents when they have the camera because they show me the screen when they are done!

I am such a funny baby. I get stuck underneath my exersauser sometimes! (Don't worry, I get out eventually!)

I am such a funny baby. I like it when my parents put things on me that are too big! It is funny when they put their baseball hats on me. There was this one time when they put my mommy's sunglasses on me.

I have so much fun!

Go Ironbirds!

This past Thursday night we attended an Ironbirds baseball game with some friends. We had a few tables on the crab deck, so eating crabs and drinking beer a central part of the night. All the itski's came along!

Jeanne, Bella, Brian and Braden

Dan and Gabby

Michael and Tom

Tammy and Emily

Braden did really well. He was very tired at the end of the night, but was a trooper during the game. It was such a nice night, weather wise. We really enjoyed ourselves. We asked Braden the next morning if he had a good time and he said,

"Yeah, it was fun!"

Spreading the news....

For those who know Kate Walker (AKA Kate Lighthart), she called last night with some news....she and Josh are excpecting! I am just so happy for them. She is 8 weeks along and feeling "Alright". Who really feels "Better than ever" at this point anyway?

Josh and Kate were married one year ago in August. Here is a picture I have from their wedding!

Congrats Kate & Josh!

New friends

When Braden was born, there were lots and lots of other babies being born among our co-workers. All the boys were born to the ladies that work at Parkville with Brian and all the girls to the ladies that work with me. (I was the exception to the rule.) Today Braden met Jamie and Branden for the first time. These twin boys were born about one month before Braden. He crawled right over to them and was fascinated. He loves other babies and this time he was able to spend time with two his own age! Their mom, Teri Ann, helped me take some pictures.

It's not easy to get three babies to look at the camera!

This one is a little better!

"Look this way!"

Ok, I give up....just hang out guys!

FYI--An update on the teeth... All four top teeth have broken through the gums. We have a happy baby again!

Braden's New Teeth

Braden is sooooooo cranky! He will be giggling one minute and screaming the next, but that is what teething is like! He is getting the top front FOUR teeth all at once and the last two days have been long. The top two middle ones broke through last week, but the other two are terrible! I feel so bad for the peanut.

If you look closely, you can see the top two teeth coming in.

Despite his crankiness, he is determined to start walking. About two days ago Braden has decided that he wants to walk everywhere, on his own. We walk around the house while he holds on to my fingers. He also has a car that he can hold on to and walk around with. He has started to pull himself up with it and then just starts walking around our living room and kitchen. Brian and I can't believe it!

He loves his car!

"Are you watching mom?"

Well, today Brian had to do some work at Parkville High School, so Braden and I took a trip to Lowes together. We needed a few things and it seem to cheer him up a bit. He had every person's attention in the store. He was told how handsome and cute he was. One lady said to me, "He is all boy isn't he!" He just loves it too. I look forward to the day where he actually smiles back. Right now he just stares at the people that talk to him.

He wasn't so cranky when we got home from the store and I got him to smile for a few pictures!

Braden pauses for a smile. :-)

Giggle, giggle!

"Mom, that tickles!"

Vacation (Part 2) Meeting my people!

Braden had not yet met some family members. He is in this stage where new people can be scary! He would rather have his mama hold him until he gets used to the new people. I was very happy that my brother Tom was able to spend some time with Braden for the first time. The funny thing about Uncle Tom, was that Braden loved him at first sight! There was no crying at all. He was very happy to be held by Uncle Tom!

Uncle Tom and Braden

Braden also got to meet his Aunt Fran and Uncle Ronnie! He was not cooperating when I was taking pictures. As you can see.

Look at that lip! I swear I didn't teach him that Brian...it isn't my fault!

Our Vacation (Part 1)

Well, we are all back safe and sound from our vacation to Michigan. We had a very nice time. We stayed at my Dad's in Livonia for most of it. Over the weekend we attended Jeremy (Brian's brother) and Danielle's wedding in South Padre, Texas. We were really hoping to get a break from the Maryland weather, but when we got to Michigan, it was HOT, and when we got to Texas, it was HOT. Finally we returned to Maryland and it was nice weather! It is funny how things work! Well, Braden did well for a 9 hour car trip. We stopped a few times, and sang every song we knew to keep him from being bored. It is hard for a baby to sit in a seat for that long!

While we were in Michigan, Braden had fun swimming in my dad's pool. He also got to stay with Grandpa Krawczyk for the weekend when Brian and I traveled to Texas. Boy did he get spoiled! He was a good baby and slept well for his grandpa. He also spent lots of time with his nana. I know it must have been a treat since they don't get to see Braden as much as they would like to!

While we were trying to pack, Braden had fun! He is crawling on top of everything now. We bought a new kitchen table yesterday and he loved the box. He loved climbing on top it.

Here is Brian in my Dad's pool. I don't know what we would have done if there was no pool because it was hot while we were visiting.

Here is Braden catching some shade after a good swim!

Braden is sitting in my old rocking chair at Grandpa Krawczyk's house. This house is currently on the market. My Dad and Juli have bought a beautiful home in Plymouth!

This is Braden and me at my Dad and Juli's new house. Brian and I got to see it for the first time. Braden wanted my refreshment....how cute is he in his snoopy outfit!
