This Weekend

It has been a fun weekend! Brian came home from Philadelphia on Friday. It was great to see him after a week. Saturday we attended the Charboneau Family Reunion....Back to Philadelphia we drove! It was very nice to see everyone. Braden did a great job. There was a pool at the club where the reunion was held so we splashed around! Thank goodness Braden loves the water because it was HOT! It is hot today also.

We are waiting to be emailed some pictures of us at the family reunion so I will post them when we receive them! But for now, I took a few shots at home...

We haven't unpacked yet and Braden is finding so many things to play with!

BOOM!

Well, Braden has had a few bumps since he started to crawl and pull himself up, but this one was a big one. This morning (very early) Braden was crawling around the kitchen, as usual, and I was getting a cup of coffee. He likes to be close, so he was pulling himself up by holding on to my legs. One he finally was standing, he decided that one hand was enough....little did he know! Boom, he hit the counter forehead first! What a hit! As you can see, we have a battle wound, but he is a trooper and doing just fine.

Well, I know that it isn't the first bump and won't be the last!

Climb, climb, climb the stairs, fast as you can go!!

Braden is getting very good at climbing the stairs! As you can see, he thinks he is hot stuff and has to make sure you are watching him each and every step!

Braden is now moving so quickly, when we turn away for one minute we find him somewhere where he was not! Recent finds might be going up the stairs, or in some corner of the room, but the funniest find lately was when he climbed into his toy basket.

Braden loves the pool!

It is hot in Maryland, if you didn't know that already! Brian and I have invested $10 in a kiddy pool for our deck! This is the best $10 we have ever spent and Braden must think so too. He loves to float around in it and splash! He now likes to just hang out in the pool without his float and he sticks his head in the water. Braden's favorite part of swimming is filling up the pool. He loves to play with the water coming out of the hose.

We were fortunate to have family join us for Braden's Christening.
He was 6 months old and did a great job.

We had a nice weekend with everyone.
